A small compilation of works from the "Villes du Sud-Ouest" collection published in 1933. Each volume is written by a different author and is dedicated to a town in the Basque Country. Contributors include: René Cuzacq (Saint-Jean-de-Luz), E. Prigent (Saint-Emilion), M. Le Grand (Saint-Severs), Germaine Delzolliés (Tonneins), Paul Mieille (Tarbes) and Ernest Lafont (Villeneuve-s-Lot). In addition to the beautiful descriptions provided by the authors, readers will have the pleasure of discovering the places mentioned as they were in the first half of the 20th century.

Set of five volumes bound into one volume with a half-vellum binding in seafoam blue. Smooth, faded spine with blind-tooled fillets and gilt titles. All edges speckled. Covers well-preserved. Contents adorned with black and white in-text woodcuts by Henri MARTIN, as well as black and white out-of-text photographs and plans. Depending on the copy, paper may be slightly browned or show traces of foxing. Overall in good condition.
