Enriched with a handwritten inscription by Cocteau dated 1941 "To Denise, this memory of a friendship truer than true", accompanied by a drawing signed Jean. Also included is a facsimile of a signed letter from Cocteau mentioning Christian Bérard.

Publisher's cream full cloth binding. Smooth spine adorned with the author's name lengthwise. Clean interior. Old damp stain at the top of the work and ink stain at the very bottom of the margin towards the end of the work.
