ORIGINAL EDITION LIMITED TO 176 NUMBERED COPIES ON VELLUM PAPER.

Published using the reserve funds of the then-dissolved Academy of Fine Books society, under the care and direction of the author, it is illustrated with 31 off-text etchings engraved after Granié and Heidbrinck, printed on Japan paper. All pages of the volume are bordered with floral frames, with those of the half-title, justification, and title being stencil-colored.

In publisher's vellum folder with green silk ties. In double wrapper. Partially uncut. Untrimmed.

The first wrapper is decorated by Georges de Feure with a beautiful botanical composition in shades of green, and the second, remarkable one, was designed by Paul Berthon and printed in parma on violet paper. The vellum folder, complete with 3 of its 4 silk ties, is adorned with an embossed decoration on a gilded background signed Belville.
