First publication in French of a study previously published in a Hungarian journal in 1866. The latter proves to be quite comprehensive and even provides the basics for learning the Basque language. Furthermore, the work is also enhanced with notes by Julien Vinson, a great French linguist of the same era, facilitating the understanding of the content.
