- A handwritten letter signed by Daragnès.- 2 original ink washes, one of which is dedicated to Mr. Lazard.

In a bordered slipcase. Full red morocco binding. Covers adorned with a very large geometric decoration of gilt fillets, spine with raised bands adorned with a similar gilt decoration. Covers lined with cream morocco framed by a wide red morocco border with gilt fillets and small white morocco rectangles, red moiré endpapers, double endpapers. Gilt edges on vellum guards. Binding signed MERCIER, successor to his father, 1928. Edition illustrated with 12 out-of-text engravings by DARAGNÈS, and numerous woodcuts. Original preface by Pierre Mac Orlan.
