Half navy blue chagrin leather binding with corners. Spine with raised bands adorned with gilt florets. Blue-green top edge. Gilt fillet on covers. Very clean interior. 500 plates (300 in color, gold and silver, and 200 in camaieu) forming the last 5 volumes and 12 full-page pattern plates in volume I. Error in volume numbering for the 5 plate volumes (numbered II to VI), but the set is complete. Very rare and light foxing in certain text volumes. Small color transfers with occasional minor losses on some plates. Slight snags on the back cover of volume I and on the joint of volume IV (plates)
