In a bordered slipcase. Contemporary full blue morocco binding. Spine with 2 central raised bands. Large gilt and green and orange shagreen mosaic motif composed of flowers and leaves on each cover with a gilt floral decoration in a green shagreen cartouche in the center. Inner border adorned with a gilt roll stamp. Gilt top edge. Original wraps and spine preserved. Binding signed KIEFFER. Book adorned with headpieces, tailpieces, and colored illustrations in the text by HAMMAN.
