LIMITED ORIGINAL EDITION of 30 hand-numbered copies (No. 26) on Rives vellum and adorned with a signed fold-out color aquatint by J.J.J. Rigal. Enhanced with a signed autograph inscription by the author.

"I had the good fortune and pleasure of being one of the first to salute J.J.J. RIGAL's career at its beginnings, in 1935, when he was eight years old. [....] It is as a poet that he uses all engraving techniques, and with particular success, color. Color, which is the expansion and effusion of nature, and which therefore wonderfully accords with the freest poetic imagination, is here treated with the same delicate, subtle meticulousness as the severe and rigorous elements of black and white engraving. Thus, J.J.J. RIGAL continuously maintains within himself a lively complicity between the poet and the craftsman."

Jean CASSOU, 1978

Founded in 1948 in Limoges by René Rougerie, Rougerie editions offer a beautiful catalog of contemporary poetry and artist's books. The singularity of the books published by Rougerie also stems from their on-site publication using a very old press, and their faithfulness to typography.
