Half brown sheepskin binding. Smooth spine, with gilded romantic florets lengthwise, title and gilded fillets. Headcaps and spine rubbed. Joints damaged. All edges speckled blue. Good condition of the content adorned with black and white initials and two out-of-text maps: one folding in black and white with a piece of adhesive, the other in black and colors. The original map, missing, is replaced by a map of the Landes (25.4 x 33 cm), extracted from the Geographical, Statistical and Progressive Atlas of France and its Colonies, engraved under the direction of P. Tardieu. Possible traces of small smudges on the pages.
