Collection: Pascal Quignard

With Les Ombres errantes, the 2002 Prix Goncourt winner, Pascal Quignard begins Dernier Royaume, a cycle of fragments, tales, and reflections that defies the novel form. Its first editions await you at Librairie KOEGUI.

The Pascal Quignard collection at the KOEGUI bookshop is organized around the Dernier Royaume cycle, available both in separate volumes and in a compilation of the first five titles. Surrounding the cycle are his tales and essays, from Triomphe du temps to L’Origine de la danse.

Two copies stand out for their bindings: Terrasse à Rome, in a red half-morocco band binding signed by Alix, in a matching slipcase, and Les Ombres errantes, in a blue-green half-calf chemise and slipcase signed by P. Goy and C. Vilaine.

Most of the volumes are offered uncut, in their original covers: for these printings, this is the most sought-after condition, that of a copy whose pages have never been opened. Each piece is described with its collation, condition verified in hand.
